Oatmeal Raisin Cookies


These are devoured in no time. It is so hard to stop eating them once you start!! They are soft and chewy just the way a oatmeal cookie should be!!!







Ingredients:

1 Cup butter
1 Cup granulated sugar
1 Cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 ½ Cups flour
1 ¼ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon mace
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground cloves
3 Cups rolled oats(not instant)
2 Cups raisins


Directions:
Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add the flour,soda, salt, cinnamon, mace, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix until well blended.
Mix in oats and raisins.
Lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Using a small scoop or teaspoon, drop cookie dough, 2 inches apart. Gently flatten each mound.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

Cream sugars and butter until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs and vanilla.


Add flour, soda,salt and spices, blend well.

Stir in oats and raisins. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and drop by teaspoons on lightly greased baking sheet and flatten gently. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Cool cookies on wire rack.
