The first time I made this pie was for my daughter Lindsay's 28th birthday. She is not a dessert gal but loves this pie as it is slightly tart and with the sweetness of the whipping cream its just a perfect combination.

Many years ago I went to Kimball Lake in Saskatchewan and I purchased a cookbook at the campground and gave a copy to my sister. She had us over one afternoon and made this recipe from the book and even though the thought of beer and tequila mix together did not really sound very good, she assured us to try it and we ended up drinking a couple of batches. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH BITES

I made these the other day along with a tray of other goodies. I told the five teenagers that were at my house that these were cookie dough dipped in chocolate and in a matter of seconds they gobbled these up. If you want to get really creative you could drizzle white chocolate or dip in coloured sprinkles etc.
