Beef Tenderloin Steak Bites

This appetizer has been a hit EVERY TIME we have served them. Everyone loves steak and everyone loves bacon and together YUM!. Unfortunately I did not get a picture with the Bearnaise sauce drizzled over them. You can either drizzle the sauce or serve as a dip.

Ingredients:
1 kilogram of beef tenderloin
1 500 gram package of sliced bacon
1 package of Bearnaise sauce (International or Knorr)

Directions:
Cut the tenderloin into 1″ cubes.
Take the bacon slices and cut each piece in half or thirds (if using thick bacon thirds and for thin bacon cut in half).
Wrap each filet bite in a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Heat a heavy skillet on high and sear each bite on all sides.
Transfer seared pieces to casserole pan and place in 350 oven for 15 minutes.
Make sauce following the directions on the bearnaise sauce package.
Serve filet bites with bearnaise sauce (either drizzle over teak bites or serve as a dip).

I use a package Bearnaise sauce but feel free to make from scratch if you like

You can use whatever brand you can find in your local grocery store. I have tried both the International and the Knorr - both are good.
You can either drizzle the sauce over the bites or serve sauce on the side.
