Chicken Fajita Pizza

Fajita Pizza is an easy pizza with chicken and salsa. The flavors and foods of chicken fajitas are used for wonderful pizza toppings in this easy recipe.

Yield: 3 -6 servings

  • pizza dough for a large pizza or 3 ind (use your favorite or see recipe below to our no-knead dough)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, julienned
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 500 F degrees.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and place on a large pizza baking pan, or a pizza stone or 3 individual small pizza baking pan.
  3. In a large skillet, saute the onion and pepper in the olive oil until onion is slightly caramelized.Season with salt, pepper and chili powder. Add shredded chicken and toss everything together.
  4. Spread salsa over the crust. Top with mozzarella cheese. Top with the chicken mixture evenly over the entire pizza. Top with the Mexican cheese blend.
  5. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.

Saute onion slices in oil 

Add the julienned green peppers and continue to saute.

Add the spices and chicken and toss together

Spread salsa over the pizza crust

Spread the chicken mixture 

Grate your cheeses or you can use a Mexican cheese blend

Grate the mozzarella cheese

Top the pizza with both cheeses and bake in a 500 degree oven for approx. 10-15 minutes

Remove from oven - slice and serve
