Butterscotch Confetti Squares




This is a quick and simple square that has become one of our favourites! The flavours are addicting and it is very hard to have just one!



Ingredients:

1/2  Cup butter
1 Cup peanut butter
270 gram bag of butterscotch chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
8 Cups rainbow marshmallows
½ Cup Rice Krispy Cereal (optional)

Directions:

In a saucepan, melt butter and peanut butter over low heat.
Stir in butterscotch chips. Stir until smooth.
Remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla
Cool mixture until you can safely touch the bottom of the pan.
Add marshmallows and Rice Krispies, stir well.
Pack mixture down in a 9x13 inch pan that has been greased and lined with parchment paper.
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Cut into small squares.


Melt butter and peanut butter over low heat.

Stir in butterscotch chips.

Stir until chips are melted and remove from heat. Add vanilla Cool mixture.
Grease and line pan with parchment paper

Add marshmallows and rice cereal to butter mixture.
Combine well to coat all the marshmallows

Press into pan, and refrigerate
