Bacon Wrapped Sausages

These are so yummy, and easy too!! Good as a appetizer or for a special breakfast treat. I made them for Christmas morning and had them ready before I started our traditional potato pancakes and my family almost ate them all before breakfast was served! These little gems are fabulous, you won't be disappointed.


24 small cooked cocktail sausages
8 slices of bacon cut into thirds
⅓ packed brown sugar
½ teaspoon chinese five spice (optional)


Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Cut bacon slices into thirds
Wrap each sausage in bacon and secure with a toothpick
In a resealable Ziplock bag add brown sugar and spice
Place several sausages into bag, seal.
Shake bag to coat sausages.
Place sugared sausages into a baking dish.
Bake until the bacon is brown.

Wrap bacon around sausage

Secure with a toothpick

Mix brown sugar and spice in a Ziplock bag

Add several sausages to the bag and shake, bake in 325 degree oven until brown.
