Granola Bars

These granola bars are soft and chewy. I use our own granola recipe which is found in our April blog but you can use store bought but I guarantee our granola wins hands down. I make a big batch of granola and store it in the freezer and then when I want to make granola bars I have a fresh supply.

Ingredients:

1 pound or 4 Cups Granola Link to Recipe:Homemade Granola
1 ½ Cups Rice Krispies
¼ Cup butter
3 Cups mini marshmallows
⅓ Cup peanut butter
¼ Cup honey

Directions:

Combine granola and Rice Krispies in a large bowl and set aside
In a medium saucepan melt butter, honey, and peanut butter. Add marshmallows and stir well. Add mixture to the granola and stir well to combine. Press into a 9"x 13" inch greased pan. Wet a fork with water while pressing into the pan as the mixture is very sticky.
