Million Dollar Spaghetti

This creamy spaghetti dish is definitely not a low calorie dish but it is worth the calories. Feel free to use any type of pasta and adjust the vegetables and spices to you family's taste.

Crispy Smashed Potatoes

This is my new favourite way to bake potatoes.  You just bake them, smash them, and then drizzle with olive oil and a little salt and pepper and back in the oven for the final bake. Yummy!!

Thai Chicken Peanut Satay

The creamy smooth, slightly sweet and a little spicy sauce is so addictive! My family really enjoyed it. I made it with chicken but you could easily substitute prawns.

Cinnabons

These are our families absolute favorite cinnamon bun recipe. They taste just like a Cinnabon. The dough is made in the bread machine so no kneading.  The vanilla pudding in the dough is the secret.

Strawberry Rhubarb Humble Crumble

This is such a delicious dessert!!! It is also very easy to put together and since strawberries and rhubarb are plentiful now is the time to make this!! You will get raves from anyone who eats this. I have rhubarb in my backyard and I always look forward to making this tasty treat in the springtime. If you don't have a rhubarb plant you can buy it fresh or frozen from the grocery store.

Grandma's White Bread

This was my Grandma's recipe and I have fond memories of her baking bread!! My Grandma was a great cook and I spent many hours in the kitchen helping and watching her, and of course the best part... eating all of her creations!! When she made bread I loved watching the dough rise, smelling the yeast and then at last slathering butter all over a nice warm piece of bread fresh out of the oven!! I could eat a whole loaf in one sitting, definitely no gluten allergy!! To me this is pure and simple comfort!
