10 cups popped popcorn
2 cups unsalted nuts
½ cup clear corn syrup
1 ⅓ cups white sugar
1 cup butter
1 teas. vanilla
Mix corn syrup and sugar into melted butter. On low heat bring to boil, stirring constantly for 8 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla, stir and pour over nuts and popcorn. Mix well - spread onto a cookie sheet and cool - breaking into bite sized pieces.

Add two cups of mixed nuts |
In a large sauce pan combine butter, corn syrup and sugar |
On low heat bring to a rolling boil for 8 minutes. |
Remove from heat and add vanilla. |
Pour over the popcorn and nuts and mix well. |
Spread onto a cookie sheet and cool - breaking into bite sized pieces. |
This mixture is nice to give away as gifts at Christmas to co-workers, teachers etc. |
do you cook for 8 minutes once it has reached a boil or a total 8 minutes for start to finish?
