Cake Batter Muddy Buddies

These little yummy morsel's are one of my my Niece Brooke's favourite snacks. They are also known as Puppy Chow. I have tried a few different recipes and this one is a no fail. You must use melting wafers or candy melts for the best results.

Makes 6 cups

Ingredients:
7 cups Crispix cereal
2 cups vanilla flavoured melting chocolate wafers or melts (you can find it in the bulk section or your grocery store, Michaels or Bulk Barn)
3/4 cup yellow cake mix
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 /8 cup coloured sprinkles

Instructions:

1. Pour 6 cups of Crispix into a large bowl.

2. Melt white melting chocolate just until melted.(melt in a bowl in microwave or stovetop). Do not substitute white chocolate chips; they do not melt the same as the candy melts

3. Pour melted white chocolate over cereal, stirring and folding until the cereal is completely covered. Generously shake sprinkles over mixture and fold them in as well. so they stick to the cereal.

4. In a large bag or covered container such as Tupperware, put cake mix and powdered sugar and shake to mix evenly.

5. Pour the white chocolate covered cereal into the large bag or container containing cake mix and powdered sugar. Seal the bag or container and shake until all the cereal is coated with the powdered mixture.

6. Discard excess powder and enjoy!
